Bucharest, the land of genuine entertainment with a traditional touch
Dear Young Movers, the time has come to reveal you the wonderful activities we have put in place for all of you, which will be available by choice for Saturday, 11th of May.
There are 5 different activities, each very attractive and fun, depending on weather you prefer a more exploring experience or you just want to have fun. Each and every one is a great opportunity to network and team building.
Find below a summary of the activities, explore the options and give them a thought, until 1st of April. After this date, the activities will be available on the official website and you will be able to choose only one.
1. Tradition & History
VILLAGE MUSEUM (MUZEUL SATULUI)
The National Museum of Village “Dimitrie Gusti” is an outdoor museum, one of a kind in Eastern Europe. It is known as “ the museum in the heart of the city”, which was opened to the public in 1936. The permanent exposition covers a surface of 14 acres, featuring 380 monuments, 60.000 pieces part of the heritage collections and over 250.000 documents archived, related to village life and traditional life. Over 500.000 guests are welcomed every year and it is for sure the most acclaimed landmark in Romania. Apart of visiting the museum, the ones of you choosing this activity will have the chance to be part of 5 traditional crafts, such as pottery, Easter egg painting, wood carving.

2. Discover the city of Bucharest with its treasures
CITY COMPASS TOURS & EVENTS
We will transform Bucharest into your playground during this interactive group activity and discover the city in an unusual way: the Bucharest City Quest!
This is an excellent way for foreigners to get to know the city as well as for the locals to discover the hidden gems of Bucharest. The Quest is both an interactive tour and a very informative treasure hunt as our local tour guides will join you.
You will have the opportunity to see Bucharest through different eyes and get to know it from a completely new perspective.You will wander around and solve the riddles, find the clues and explore the hidden places of our beautiful Capital.

3. Enjoy the largest relaxation center in Europe, built green
THERME BUCHAREST
Therme is the largest relaxation and entertainment center in Europe, built green. It hosts the widest variety of botanical plants and the biggest network of indoor waterslides in Romania, with a total length of 1,5 km. It also hosts Europe’s largest palm tree plantation, of 1500 units imported from 6 countries.
Located in the north of Bucharest, just 10 minutes away from the city, Therme is a wellness concept for a modern lifestyle, dedicated to well-being. It has an indoor temperature of 29-30 degrees Celsius and a water temperature of 33 degrees Celsius, every month of the year. The thermal water makes its way from deep underground to supply 9 pools, 4 wet saunas and 16 water slides.
